The Coming Revival And Wealth Transfer

By humility and the fear of the LORD are riches, and honour, and life. PROVERBS 22:4

Proverbs 22:4 has really become a key verse for me in my thinking about the coming revival.

Just recently as I was musing over it, the Lord said to me that this was a prophetic verse (Solomon was a prophet who actually prophesied some of the most profound societal shifts in human history) and a schematic miniature of that great chapter which is a scriptural template of the coming revival, Isaiah 60.

Isaiah 60 chronicles the wealth transfer at the fall of Babylon which sees the wealth of the nations flow into the hands of the people of God. It also details the stupendous turnaround in terms of favour and honour that believers will receive from those who presently ignore, scoff or persecute us at present. And it provides a thrilling portrait of the deluge of people who will come to faith in Christ.

As I have pointed out in my book You Are A Magnet For Wealth, Isaiah 60 is a passage full of temple metaphors and is a look at the last days temple as it is full of the glory of God. That temple is, of course, the Body of Christ. Our bodies individually and collectively are the temple of God in these last days.

God is going to glorify His temple. Which means God is going to glorify you. This wonderful flooding of our human bodies with light, fire and glory will be amazing to experience and to behold but I believe it is vital that we remember that such things, although astoundingly special to us, are God’s normal. What we are about to walk in is what we should always have walked in, in a sense.

It is vital that we position ourselves for the revival that is coming and this includes positioning ourselves to be recipients and stewards of vast sums of money and other resources. Some of the wealth transfers that will take place will be mindblowing in tersm of speed and scope. Church, get ready for this. And remember, this isn’t happening to make you JR Ewing but to make you a steward commander of Kingdom wealth.

The real heart of many will be exposed in this as it is revealed that those who reject the abundance message don’t do so for reasons of presumed nobility but because they are slothful. Which to God means wicked and unprofitable. Remember that in Isaiah 60:5 the massive wealth transfer from the Babylonian world economy to the ekklesia will actually cause us to be terrified and quake! God is not playing games. Those who keep going on about Jesus coming back to rule will find very rudely and suddenly that He intends to rule in and through us first. And if you are not ready for that, then this coming revival is going to be a tough time for you.

Here is a message I preached recently on these things.
