Cancel culture is with us today in the earth. The Bible remedy for cancel culture is in these verses. This passage tells us that we are blessed, chosen, predestinated and accepted.
Men may seek to cancel you but you are already accepted in the Beloved.
Cancel culture operates under a satanic anointing. It is the manifestation of the spirit of rejection. As those involved in deliverance ministry are aware, the spirit of rejection is the gatekeeper that opens doors to many other wicked spirits.
Cancel culture is the antithesis of favour. Here in this passage from Ephesians we see that it is by God’s grace/favour that we are accepted in Him. Cancel culture and the spirit behind it seeks to reject you but you are already accepted in the only place that matters – the bosom of the Lord and the family of God.
Dealing with rejection is a vital matter for Christians. Derek Prince taught extensively on this. We must never allow ourselves or others to feel rejected. It can be the doorway to heavy demonic bondage.
The leader’s job is to teach people they are accepted in the Beloved. Ultimately, this is the Gospel. Ours is a ministry of reconciliation. The demonic spirit behind cancel culture is an anti-Gospel spirit and therefore an antichrist spirit.
It’s interesting that cancel culture is reserved for those who have conservative, traditional and Christian views. Cancel culture comes from a persecuting mindset. It comes from a place of condemnation.
The evil one wants to cancel your life, testimony, voice and ministry. The antidote to the cancel culture he seeks to impose is the grace/ favour of God. Leader, you must be immersed in favour to accomplish what the Lord has called you to do in your generation.
Keep yourself in the favour of God. Don’t engage in cancel culture yourself, through wrong motives such as jealousy or personal dislike – this is spiritual and ministry Kryptonite. Of course, there are times when you must discipline people but never write people off as people. We are all made in the image of God.
The Kingdom is a place where nobody is cancelled. Ever. There is no rejection in the Kingdom.
Blessed. Chosen. Predestined for glory. Accepted in the Beloved. These are Kingdom realities no devil from hell can ever cancel or conquer.
